    The space shuttle Discovery made its historic final voyage April 17, 2012, including a tour over the Washington, D.C. area. The space shuttle made a tour flying low and slow over the Capitol, White House, the Mall and much of the Potomac River. The space shuttle was making it’s way from Kennedy Space Center to the Smithsonian’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly to be displayed in the museum.
